For the Love of the Game layout by Carolyn Lontin

I love the Sports on Fire line by SSM especially when you mix it with a little bit of the Reflections paper, some stars from the Title Sports line and of course a layout just isn't complete without at least one card stock sticker! :)  

Tonight we had a  baseball game near our home football field - makes me really look forward to another football season this fall - even the hot sweaty dog days of summer tournaments in late August to prepare the boys for another exciting season!

All Star baseball layout

It's been hit or miss with the weather if the boys get to play baseball or not ... but last weekend they were able to get a few games in during a one-day tournament.   I love my son's new team's uniforms and I love how I can mix and match so many different SSM lines!!

Baseball - sittin' out Layout

During the first week of summer this year, my son injured his foot needing stitches therefore missing his first sports game ever.  He was so bummed sitting out during his baseball game that he was determined to play the next game; so of course I had to capture him sittin' out of this game.

Play Hard

I love baseball photos, I love it even more when I catch one like this where my son has finished his swing and the ball is still in the photo (and that I am getting pretty good taking photos behind the fence)!  

When I saw this photo I immediately thought of Scrappin' Sports & More's Sports on Fire line and then of course I added in some of my other favorite baseball lines by Scrappin' Sports & More! :)

And we really love our mascot, Icy D. Eagle!!  And with Scrappin Sports & More's Sports on Fire line, you can use the Playing the Game paper (item #1137) for nearly any sport.  It's fire on the front and words on the back!!

Custom papers, etc.

Do you have a favorite sports team, school, etc.?  Scrappin Sports and More has an amazing line of custom papers...you can choose the words and colors to really make your layouts yours! 

Here, I used a custom paper along with an older baseball line and our new sports stickers to highlight our town baseball team...the Fort Wayne Tin Caps.

But you don't have to stop there...Scrappin Sports & More even has a way to add flair to our regular Sports On Fire line...see the name in the flames?  Does your team have a mascot?  Scrappin Sports & More might even have that covered...here I used the Horse paper to go with my Colts layout!!  Thanks to My Sketch World for the inspiration for this layout!!

Baseball Teammates

I love capturing photos of the boys on my son's sports teams bonding - I caught this great shot of the boys in the dugout during their play-off double header games last spring ... once they saw me in the dugout with the camera they couldn't squeeze together quick enough to be in the photo! :)

I decided to keep this layout simple by using one of my all time Scrappin' Sports & More paper lines - Reflections; I love the simplicity of the reflection side and I am a sucker for the side with words.  This paper line makes a great addition to any sports page!
