Way back when...

..when I was 9, I took my first trip out on a salmon charter boat in Westport, WA.  I remember feeling sick most of the trip, but still having a fun time.  I enjoyed the casting, the reeling, and even the waiting, but I didn't enjoy the part where they hit the fish over the head!

Soccer Spirit!

It is hard to believe that soccer season is upon us already here in Maine.  Practices have started & tournaments are scheduled for this weekend.  Each year my hubby takes photos for Lily's soccer team so we have an abundance of fabulous soccer photos.  

The Title Sports Soccer paper is this fabulous green color that reminds me of the soccer fields. I used it to create "Soccer Spirit" as well as a couple of other Title Sports papers that complimented the Soccer paper. I hand cut "SOCCER" from the paper, too!

Having A Blast!!

Having a blast, that's what summer is all about. Summer time for us means trip to Michigan at Grandpa & Grandma's cottage on the lake. Love how carefree our days are up there. I was able to capture some fun photos of Mark & the kids in the water. It's hard to believe that I used the Title Sports and School is cool line for this layout. It just shows you the versatility of these lines.  I love all the bright colors!

Soccer Camp!!

It's so hard to believe that summer is winding down!  Didn't school get out just yesterday?!  Thankfully my scrapping obsession-- I mean hobby-- means that I can preserve the memories of this summer that has flown by and we will be able to remember all the fun for many years to come!

One of the fun things that the kids did this summer was to go to soccer camp!  This was Colby's 2nd year of going and Elizabeth was a last minute addition to the camp.  They both had a BLAST!  The new title sports line is perfect for this layout!  I LOVE the built in titles and I especially love the soccer one!  I cut the letters out and popped them up with foam tape.  Then, I added some fun soccer stamps to complete the layout!

Make your kids happy with your scraps!

I made my daughter one happy, happy girl with a few simple scraps!  I created this  cute bookmark and she was super excited!  She loves to read and even volunteers at our local library.  At the tender age of 8, she's actually started writing book reviews for the library's website!  So, this bookmark was right up her alley!  I used scraps from the Title Sports collection and I love how it turned out.  The only one who wasn't happy was my son.  So, now I need to make another one! ;)

Sports paper...not just for sports!

The thing I love best about Scrappin Sports and More paper is that it is so easy to use for so many topics!!  The shoes on this layout were originally from a Cross Country paper, but it was perfect to document my dog, Jenny, and how she HAS to lay on my shoes when I am not wearing them!!  Crazy beagle!!  But they could also be placed on a reflective layout...documenting a journey you are taking, new school shoes...just about anything!  Pair them with the "b" side of the sports paper and you have the perfect combination!!

Homecoming

It is hard to believe that the two girls in these photos are heading off to college in less than a month.   I love that the layout reflects a time of youth and happiness.  The Homecoming paper (#1376) from the Title Sports line made it so easy to pull off a simple & sweet layout to compliment the photos.

Going the Distance

For the past 3 years Victoria has had a passion for distance running.  I envy that she can run for such a long time and never seem to tire.  Oh to be young again :)  Scrappin' Sports newest Title Sports line was perfect to capture her running Varsity track as a Freshman.  I hope she keeps up her passion for running and is able to complete the marathon she keeps talking about.

Play Ball!!

It's time to PLAY BALL!  I love this photo of my son ready to swing and with his eye on the ball.  The Title Sports Basesball paper was perfect to showcase this fun photo!  And, the huge baseball album sticker was also just what this layout needed!  I cut out the "Ball" letters from the baseball paper and added some Glossy Accents.  Then, I put them on with some foam tape to really pop them off the page!
