Easy Peasy Birthday Cards

I am so loving the new collection from Scrappin' Sports!  It's so fun and versatile and the "b" sides of the papers go with absolutely ANYTHING!!  Today I want to share two quick birthday cards I put together:  one for a boy, and one for a girl.

The boy card uses a classic red, white and blue color scheme:

And, the girl card uses a softer yellow, white and light blue:

And, the cards look great together, too!

Winners never quit ...

My son tried wrestling one season through our local high school's youth program and it was a tough season.  Since my son is a bigger kid he was usually paired with more experienced kids - he sure learned about not giving up!

I was thrilled to see SSM's new Title Sports Wrestling paper - I love the tiny words on the paper!  I mixed the wrestling paper with Title Sports Golf and Title Sports Volleyball for a layout I love!

Wii got Dance Paper!!!

Have you joined the craze?  I admit it, I am officially addicted to Just Dance for the Wii.  So when the new lines came out and included Dance paper AND they matched my Just Dance cover perfectly...well....

My son is a character...truly!!  Luckily, I have lots of material to scrap as a result!!  Here he is demonstrating his best wrestling poses and ginormous muscles (you can see them if you look REALLY close!  LOL). 

Lucky for me, Scrappin Sports & More has several different lines that include wrestling themes!!

Sports paper...not just for sports!

The thing I love best about Scrappin Sports and More paper is that it is so easy to use for so many topics!!  The shoes on this layout were originally from a Cross Country paper, but it was perfect to document my dog, Jenny, and how she HAS to lay on my shoes when I am not wearing them!!  Crazy beagle!!  But they could also be placed on a reflective layout...documenting a journey you are taking, new school shoes...just about anything!  Pair them with the "b" side of the sports paper and you have the perfect combination!!

Ultimate Comfort

As you may have read earlier, this month the DT was challenged to use the word "comfort" on a layout.  Well, with a lazy beagle in the house, it wasn't hard to find pictures for this challenge!! 

I used the B side of the new Wrestling paper (#1336) and Football paper (#1324).  I then added some paw print stamps and a few embellishments and well...don't the pictures say it all?  LOL
