Another dance rectial layout from me..shocking, I know! Well, when each girl does 4-5 dances in every show there are many photos to take! It's always hard to get good photos during the recital because the lighting is typically dim and the girls are moving so quickly. I tend to keep my photos small for printing because the larger they are the blurrier they are... so I use a group of smaller wallet sized photos to tell my story.
This was my first time using the "b" side of the Girls Rule Dance paper..I just LOVE it. My daughter always looks so happy on stage...she loves to dance and it shows! I offset the black and white of that paper with the "b" side of the Title Sports Dance paper because I love how the purple offsets the green of her costume. So there you have it. Another great recital layout thanks to the Scrappin Sports papers!

I hope you dance...
I hope it's not too cliche to use this song title for yet another ballet scrapbook page...
I love the meaning behind the words...as well as the obvious statement it makes, and this photo of my daughter was so fitting, especially in her pointe shoes...Last year she was forced to choose between cheer and pointe class...so she went to the director of the dance studio to ask her what other options she had and they allowed her to take a lower level of dance class, completely on pointe (a full 1/2 hour longer than her regular class and all floor work)..this was so NOT easy for her, but she was totally commited and stuck to it and in the end was so much more advanced for all her efforts. I am so proud of her for making the choice to NOT sit it out...

Scrappin' Cards
I love using my left over scraps of SS&M papers for cards. Quite often I am creating a card on the fly. That so many of the SS&M lines have complimenting color schemes makes it so easy to pull together a nice card quickly.
My first card is chocked full of baseball goodness. Scott & his Dad are big Red Sox fans so the red, white and blue color scheme is perfect for them. I made this card as a Father's Day Card for my FIL, but really, it could just as easily been given for a birthday card.
I did a little bit of distressing on the edges of the paper and crinkled the Dymo "happy" for a bit of depth. The star is die cut using my Sizzix star dies and some corrugated cardboard.
Supplies:
Name Of The Game
Baseballs paper (#1255)
Girls Rule
Gymnastics paper (#1391)
"Hugs & Kisses" is filled with scraps from the "Title Sports" line. I am putting it away for when Lily goes away to soccer camp this summer. It will be her first time going to overnight camp and I want her to know that we are missing her while she is gone.
Supplies:
Title Sports
Cross Country paper (#1370)
Tennis paper (#1381)
Homecoming paper (#1376)
Girls Rule
Homecoming/Prom paper (#1392)
Sporty Words
Volleyball paper (#1407)

We would love to see what you make for cards using SS&M papers. Feel free to share on the Scrappin' Sports & More Facebook Page!
