Kindergarten Readiness

This is my now 8th grader his first year at St. Michael's School.  He looks so excited in the pictures it's hard not to smile and remember those simpler years of school.  No homework, just fun times!!  I love looking back and seeing just how far he has come.  They grow up so fast; it's hard to believe that this was only a short time ago.

I used a fun star border punch that always works well with school themes and added a few star brads.  I also braided 3 colors of twine together for the banner topper.

Thanks for stopping by!!

School Time Again :)

Now that most students are back in the groove of school, I thought it would be appropriate to share a Kindergarten layout I did for my youngest.  I can't believe how the time how flown as she just started 7th grade this year.  Makes me miss those special days of Mr Funny Feet and Field trips to the Fire Station!  That's the fun of going back and scrapping an older picture, you get to relive those special times.

First day of Kindergarten!

I can't even tell you how much I LOVE the new line of school papers from Scrappin' Sports & More!  The colors are perfect for doing school layouts and the designs are clean and fun and easy to use!  I used the Kindergarten paper to create this layout of my son's first day of Kindergarten.  It seems like it was yesterday, but he's almost done the 1st grade already!

Celebrating Graduations!

With the end of the school year upon most of us, we decided to celebrate our graduations / graduates!

I created a layout using some photos from my son's kindergarden graduation;  I had already scrapped the ceremony photos but I still had a lot of snapshots of him with his pals and one of my favorites - my son giving his teacher a great big bear hug (I also figured you didn't want to see my horrible early 1990's graduations photos ;) )

I really love Scrappin' Sports & More's grade specific papers and stickers - they were just so fun to use!!
