Another Great Track Season

I can't believe another track season has come and gone!!  Alex had another wonderful year, sprinting his way to a lot of ribbons & medals :)  These pictures were taken of him running the 100 meter dash.  I can't believe how far out in front he was for such a short distance.

Girls Rule Line - Track

Okay, I know the name of the line is Girls Rule, but this track paper is perfect for male athletes too!  The colors in it were perfect for the green uniforms of my son's team.  I just love it when I get good action photos!  His feet are both in the air as he is flying down the track.  It was a great season; can't wait for this year!

Sports paper...not just for sports!

The thing I love best about Scrappin Sports and More paper is that it is so easy to use for so many topics!!  The shoes on this layout were originally from a Cross Country paper, but it was perfect to document my dog, Jenny, and how she HAS to lay on my shoes when I am not wearing them!!  Crazy beagle!!  But they could also be placed on a reflective layout...documenting a journey you are taking, new school shoes...just about anything!  Pair them with the "b" side of the sports paper and you have the perfect combination!!

Going the Distance

For the past 3 years Victoria has had a passion for distance running.  I envy that she can run for such a long time and never seem to tire.  Oh to be young again :)  Scrappin' Sports newest Title Sports line was perfect to capture her running Varsity track as a Freshman.  I hope she keeps up her passion for running and is able to complete the marathon she keeps talking about.

3 Gold Medals

The new Title Sports line is fantastic!!  I wanted to do a special layout to showcase my son getting 3 Gold Medals in the Big Track Meet of the Year.  He even tied the record in the 100 meter dash.  I love the backs of these new papers too; it makes the possibilities endless.  Here I combined the track paper with the back of the wrestling (stars) and the back of the hockey (stripes).

Springtime means Track Time

In years past if you asked me what we did during the Spring, I would say watch lots of soccer.  This year is a little different.  With only having one playing this Spring, it's not soccer that is taking up my time, but Spring Track.  I love that they can start the sport in 4th grade.  This will be the only year, all three of my children can particiate on the same team sport, so I thought I better document it.  So here is what I came up with for my Spring page.....

I just love the look of the Degining Running paper, the black track and the definitions go with any school color.  The stop watch paper is another neutral, which adds an excellent background.
